Marketing Roundtable Committee
An opportunity for area marketing professionals to give input on the Chamber’s marketing & how the Chamber can better serve your business. It’s also where we meet to discuss marketing & branding ideas and strategies to increase tourism and economic development for Garrett County and the Chamber's members.
Autumn Glory Committee
Welcomes volunteers to help plan for the annual Autumn Glory Kick-Off Dinner, Grand Feature Parade, Craft Show and other happenings related to the event MSN.com listed the #1 Fall Festival in the world. Here are just some of the items that are planned and discussed within the committee:

Membership Committee
Welcomes new businesses to the community and encourages Chamber membership. Works with Membership Development Director on recruitment programs, welcomes new members and conducts outreach to existing members to promote member involvement in Chamber programs. The committee also collects feedback for program development.
Legislative Affairs Committee
Evaluates issues on a local, state and national level. Discusses the impact and outlines possible courses on action for the Board of Directors to consider. Keeps members informed and educated on issues facing the business community. Participates with other community organization toward common goals.
Mountain Maryland Sustainability Committee
The Mountain Maryland Sustainability Committee's mission is to provide information and resources to the businesses, public institutions and citizens of Garrett County on responsible environmental management and sustainability of our natural resources.
Business After Hours and Business Before Hours Committee
This committee helps plan and execute these monthly and bi-monthly events. Business After Hours are held monthly beginning at 6:00 p.m. at various businesses and town landmarks throughout Garrett County. Business Before Hours are held bi-monthly and feature speakers presenting information on Economic, Legislative,and Tourism pertaining to Garrett County.
Garrett County Diplomats
The objective of the Garrett County Diplomats is to have fun and be a public relations arm of the Chamber. This objective is accomplished by acting as greeters at functions such as the Business After Hours and Business Before Hours; delivering new member packets in person and remaining in contact with that member throughout the year to encourage member rention; attending Ribbon Cuttings, Grand Openings and First Dollor of Profit Presentations to be visible in the public eye; participating in Membership Orientations conducted at the Chamber; and assisting with member retention calls.
