Wisp Resort Season Opening
WISP RESORT ANNOUNCES 2014.2015 WINTER SEASON OPENING
The Mid-Atlantic continues to experience a rollercoaster of weather making winter operations challenging. Wisp Resort’s resilient Mountain Operations Team is working tirelessly to patch the mountain from this week’s rain and mild temperatures. Snowmaking will resume as weather permits. The inaugural Wisp Benefit Day has been rescheduled for Friday, December 12, 2014. All proceeds from Benefit Day ticket sales will go to Garrett Lakes Arts Festival. Tickets are $20 per person for adults or children 6 and older or 38” tall which includes lift ticket access for skiing and snowboarding, unlimited snow tubing, ice skating and a mountain coaster ride at the Mountain Park. All activities are based on availability and are weather permitting. Operating hours are to be announced. There will be various entertainment throughout the day in celebration of the arts. Wisp Resort 14.15 Season Passes are not valid on Benefit Day.
Wisp Resort’s projected official opening day for the 2014.2015 winter season is rescheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2014. Open terrain, chairlift operations and pricing will be announced closer to opening day.

Wisp Resort is a four season mountain resort by the shores of Deep Creek Lake in Western Maryland. Wisp offers skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, golf, canopy tours, white water rafting, activities on Deep Creek Lake, lift-served mountain biking, and a variety of other mountain recreation activities. The resort has 14 lifts and 34 trails on 172 acres, more than 90% of which is lit for night skiing.
