SAVAGE REZ KAYAK TOURS

10:00AM-2:00PM ~ The undeveloped Savage Reservoir is easy to get to and only 20 minutes from Deep Creek Lake. Equipment, instruction, guided tour, and a full picnic lunch buffet included. Watch the nesting pair of Bald Eagles fish and raise their eaglet. Enjoy the quiet beauty of this pristine and gorgeous mountain lake. Our guides are professionals with a great attitude! Safe and relaxing, lake closed to motor boats and totally undeveloped. Great trip for beginners. Kayaks are sit-inside flat-water and sea kayaks. Garrett County's finest nature experience! Paddle at your own pace...No Worries! Private tours available for groups of 8 or more. Double kayaks available for parents with smaller kids, or adults too!

BONFIRE EXTRAVAGANZA
Experience Sacred Fire ~ Sacred Drum
Every Wednesday Night July and August (except August 31st)
8:30pm-10:15pm ~ Deep Creek Lake State Park. Park at the Discovery Center and follow torches to the amphitheater. Step back in time -storytelling, drumming, costumed performers, song and group dance participation. Sticks and marshmallows provided at the end. Great family fun! Children under 4 FREE.
Fee: $5.00 per person Dress for the outdoors. Bring lawn chairs or blankets and flash lights.

CROSS COUNTRY SKI LESSONS AND TOURS

Group Lessons Available
We provide ski lessons at Backbone Mountain Ski Farm. Come ski with us and enjoy a rustic ski lodge and groomed and back country ski trails. Learn the basics and get started right in the sport. $30 package includes full day rental, trail fee and 1 hour lesson (own skis ($15 lesson+$6 trail fee). Get outside in winter and have fun!

TODDLER TUESDAYS

Deep Creek Lake State Park Discovery Center. Ages 1 - 5
Let the little ones have some fun too! Join us for songs, games, a wee hike, craft activity, snack and juice.
Fee: $10 per child
Parent must accompany.

RIVER WALKS
Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10:00AM-2:00PM ~ Take a fun and easy guided walk in the Youghiogheny River Wild and Scenic Corridor to a great swimming hole where you can get wet or just sit and chill. Watch the river go by and enjoy the peaceful serenity. Great for families. Pack your own lunch. Walk departs from Friendsville. $10.00 per person (Kids under 5 free)

YOGA IN NATURE

See dozens of animals including a miniature donkey, llama, several breeds of sheep, goats, and rabbits. Sheep to fiber demonstration and pet the animals. Wool products and wool fiber wall hangings for purchase. Fee: $5.00 Per Person (kids under 3 free)
